Seneca Chief Secretary Desk

The Seneca Chief Secretary Desk was built as a reproduction of a historical Duncan Phyfe writing desk. Built from Sapele, this desk approximates the look and feel of the furnishings that would have been found on the vessel that celebrated the opening of the Erie Canal. This piece was part of an exhibition for the Erie Canal's Bicentennial Celebration and is on view at the Buffalo Maritime Center
